Fishing takes centre stage in so many adventures in Frontenac, and the regions' diversity will have you filling your catch in no time. From the lake trout in Sharbot Lake to the walleye in Lake Kennebec, you’ll find great fishing, breathtaking scenery and exceptional hospitality. After all, fishing and hospitality are just the way of life here.

Get started by contacting one of the great fishing lodges located on one of over 5000 lakes to find accommodations, a guide and to plan your fishing adventure.

Brule Lake

Bass and lake trout. Sandy bottom, clear water.  Pleasantview Lodge offers comfortable cottages along water’s edge in a unique and remote location not far from Bon Echo Park.

Crotch Lake

Crotch Lake has walleye, bass. North Frontenac Parklands offer 77 back country campsites at 11 lakes on Crown Land including Crotch Lake. Some campsites include stunning wetlands and hiking trails.  A great place to catch your dinner while travelling by canoe.

Kashwakamak Lake

Come here for excellent walleye and smallmouth bass fishing. The fishing reaches its best in mid-June and mid-October.  Fernleigh Lodge is well known for it's food, lodging and guide services.

Big Gull Lake

Bass, walleye, muskie, perch, pike. Kirk Kove Cottages offers full amenities, family-oriented, with long-term owners.

Lake Kennebec

Deep fishing holes and lots of bays and inlets. Pike, pickerel, panfish, bass. Springwood Cottages open year-round, full amenities and is located conveniently close to HWY 7.

Sharbot Lake

Diverse, walleye to rockfish. Sharbot Lake Country Inn & The Crossing Pub offer well-appointed rooms with attached restaurant with regular live celtic music events.

Bobs Lake

Walleye, lake trout, pan fish, lake herring. Large, diverse lake. Bobs Lake Cottages are luxury in a pristine setting.  Bob's Lake is a large and sprawling lake, with many corners - you'll never have to fish the same place twice.

Loughborough Lake

Bass and pike fishing, hiking and wildlife viewing. Loughborough Inn is a full service facility with a marina next door.  Loughborough lake is just 15-20 minutes north of Kingston.

St. Lawrence River

If you're after big fish and big water, venture into the 1000 islands along the St. Lawrence river!  There are plenty of options for shore fishing in the region. Bass, panfish, catfish, and lots of diverse habitat.

Lake Ontario

Pike, panfish, bass, trout, walleye. Lake Ontario is one of North America's Great Lakes and is filled with great opportunities.
